As a descendant of an Arikara warrior ledger artist, Bloody Knife and following in the legacy tradition of pictorial art, I’ve found ways to continue and make the art form my own. Being a natural designer and creator of material culture, incorporating geometrics and florals along side the pictorial work to further accentuate the concept and storytelling aspect came naturally and is part of my signature ledger style.
