This original ledger drawing honors love. Grounded in heritage, land and shared history. The two figures carry traditions shaped by the soil they belong to, with regalia reflecting lived experience, work, ceremony, resilience and pride. Existing as expressions of culture that continues to adapt while remaining grounded in meaning and tradition.
Pulling inspiration from my own lineage and Indigenous ranching histories with foundations of matriarchal strength, beauty and continuity. The story represents love that grows from shared ground where care and partnership are inseparable from culture. The framing geometric and floral design work represents the masculine and the feminine. Creating both balance and beauty in life and in art.
Where Paths Meet is a celebration of Native love in all forms. Enduring, grounded in ancestry, strengthened by partnership and carried into the future together.
